![]() Not everyone might agree with "gifting" a host for "doing their job'-to each his own but our host treats us wonderfully and a small token gift is the least we can do in return. ![]() Our relationship has become more than a host-client one after so many years he's a friend also and should we never set foot in "his" casino again the friendship would remain. Some of the gifts we have given to him-wine from a Long Island vineyard( he used to live on Long Island), and engraved pen set, Visa gift cards, silk tie, and our last trip we took him out to dinner on one of his days off at a restaurant of his choice in his home neighborhood. He also leaves nice gifts in the room for us-last trip it was champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. He makes sure we have everything we need- comps us as many nights as we want in a suite including food and bev,(the general mail offers I receive are simply for 3 free nights)arranges for show tickets,offers limo from a/o to the airport. He never expects it-always says as long as we had fun that's thanks enough- (I once had a host a very long time ago who seemed to expect something-he has since been fired I have heard.) ![]() Although "not necessary" my DH and I like to occasionally give a gift to our host.
